For your first wax, we recommend coming in with at least 3 weeks of growth. (That means no shaving!)
Gently exfoliate the area 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.
Skip caffeine and alcohol day of your appointment, and be sure to drink lots of water! Some clients will take an over-the-counter pain medication like ibuprofen about 30 minutes before to reduce discomfort. We recommend wearing cotton underwear and loose pants!

To ensure clear expectations and a consistent experience, we define a Brazilian wax as the removal of hair from the full front bikini area, including the vulva, along with the butt strip (the hair surrounding the gluteal cleft).
Included in a Brazilian Wax:
Full front bikini area
Vulva/labia area
Mons pubis
Butt strip
Additional Areas Available Upon Request:
We are happy to remove small surrounding areas at no additional charge when requested during your appointment, including:
Happy trail
Small sections of upper inner thigh hair
Hair extending onto the glute/cheek area
Because hair growth patterns and personal preferences vary, these areas are not automatically included in our standard Brazilian wax service and are performed upon request.
Waxing service definitions can vary from studio to studio! What one business considers a Bikini, Full Bikini, or Brazilian may be different from another. We encourage clients to familiarize themselves with the service descriptions and ask questions if they're unsure which service is right for them!

Clients may absolutely be waxed while menstruating! We recommend placing a fresh tampon (or if you do not use tampons, we have sanitary wipes to freshen up pre-waxing). Do be advised that your skin is typically a bit more sensitive and your pain tolerance is lower during this time in your cycle. If you are new to waxing, it may be a good idea to reschedule your appointment for a further date for this reason. But do know waxing during your period is completely normal!

The wax is only half the service.
Freshly waxed skin deserves a little extra love. We’ll walk you through your aftercare before you leave and make sure you know exactly how to care for your skin in the days following your appointment.
For the first 24–48 hours, we recommend keeping things gentle. Avoid excessive heat, friction, heavy sweating, and anything that may irritate freshly waxed skin. This includes no sex, hot tubs, baths, steamy showers, saunas, working out, and direct sun exposure. We also recommend wearing cotton underwear and loose pants. Avoid touching the area post-wax.
Once your skin has settled, regular gentle exfoliation and keeping the skin moisturized can help keep your skin smooth and reduce the buildup that can contribute to ingrown hairs.

Most clients come every 4–6 weeks, but there’s no one-size-fits-all schedule. It depends on your hair growth, your goals, and how you like to maintain your results.
If your goal is to stay as smooth as possible, staying consistent around the 4–6 week mark can help your hair growth become more synchronized, so more of your hair is growing and returning around the same time.
But if you’re not chasing completely bare skin, you don’t have to stick to a strict schedule. With consistent waxing, many people notice their hair becoming finer, softer, sparser, and slower-growing over time. Come back when it feels right for you and your body. We’re here to work with your goals, not dictate them.
-
It might seem surprising, but feeling a bit of “stubble” after a waxing service is completely normal—and it doesn’t mean your wax was done incorrectly.
Hair doesn’t grow all at the same time. Instead, it grows in cycles. At any given moment, some hairs are long enough to be removed, while others are still just below the surface of the skin. Wax can only remove hair that has grown out enough to be gripped properly.
After your service, you may feel:
Short hairs just beneath the surface that weren’t ready to be waxed yet
New hairs beginning to grow in from a different cycle
Blunt tips from previously shaved hair, which can feel coarser as they grow out
With consistent waxing (every 4–6 weeks), more of your hair will align into the same growth cycle. This leads to:
Smoother results that last longer
Finer, softer regrowth over time
Less noticeable “in-between” stubble
Pro tip: Gentle regular exfoliation between appointments can help prevent buildup of dead skin and allow hairs to grow through more evenly.

We use a professional soft wax that’s hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and thoughtfully formulated with sensitive skin in mind. It’s designed to effectively remove hair while being gentle on the delicate skin of the bikini area.
Paired with intentional technique and proper skin preparation, it’s an important part of what makes our signature Brazilian different.
the waxology difference.
PRODUCT
We use high-quality, professional products that are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and thoughtfully curated for sensitive skin. Every product has a purpose, from prep to post-wax care—because your skin deserves the same attention as your results.
TECHNIQUE
We pay close attention to how your hair grows, how your skin responds, and how each section needs to be worked. Every application and removal is intentional, thorough, and tailored to you, because we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every step is suited for our clients’ individual needs and pain tolerance.
BEDSIDE MANNER
Brazilian waxing can feel very vulnerable, especially when you’re trusting someone with a very personal part of your body. We never take that trust lightly. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable, respected, and completely at ease from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you want to chat the entire time or enjoy a quiet appointment, we’ll meet you where you are. You never have to feel embarrassed, apologize for your body, or worry about being judged here.
COMMUNICATION
We’ll talk you through what to expect, answer your questions, check in throughout your service, and listen to your feedback.
Your comfort level, your preferences, and your goals matter. If something feels uncomfortable, if you have a question, or if you simply want us to do something differently, we want you to tell us. Open communication helps us give you the experience and results you deserve.
